On August 12th we had an opportunity that doesn’t come around for many, my little sister got married and we had the privilege of capturing her day as our wedding gift to them. It was a very unique situation as I have never had to slug around picnic tables, cut lemons, string lights and be lovingly bossed around by the bride to be before a shoot. Thankfully, as always Melinda had my back as this time I kept getting caught up in the “I can’t believe my sis is getting married”. The ceremony, reception and dinner were at the Hampton barn at Belwood lake in Fergus, Ontario. A nice little rustic barn complete with pond was an ideal setting and may dare I say quaint. In Melinda’s words… it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for Rose & Bryn to marry. Their country theme was simplistic and stunning. Every last detail was perfectly executed, from the mason jar vases to the picnic table banquets… simply an absolutely beautiful day!
