6am – I started to walk the beach to meet Emily + Matt for their sunrise engagement session here in Punta Cana. The second I arrived to the Now Larimar beach – the rain hit! I darted quickly for cover under the roof of the spa hut and it poured!! It poured for about 20 minutes in fact. Just when it lifted, I see Emily + Matt trickle out of the hotel. We decided to give it a go… 2 minutes later though…. ANOTHER downpour! We were playing double dutch with nature. In.. out.. in.. out. It was tricky… the light changed on us every few minutes. Sun one minute… dark rain clouds the next. But we rocked it anyway! Largely in part because Em + Matt are awesome. XO
